The original McDonald’s in San Bernardino was opened in 1948. Today, you can visit this museum to see memorabilia, pictures, and uniforms. The museum has a large collection of McDonald’s history, including the original San Bernardino McDonald’s. It is also a popular place to get a fix of fast food. Its restaurants also provide an excellent source of local history.

Visitors can explore the history of the region through the lens of a time capsule. Route 66 was an important part of the American dream. After all, the Federal Government gave the impetus to the construction of the transcontinental railroad and the creation of Route 66. Those who made the journey found that their dreams of better living were closer than they had ever imagined. The museum reflects that history and focuses on the people who made the city great.

This museum was recently reconstructed and renovated thanks to an endowment from a private donor. It received funding for renovations, including a new roof and interior rehabilitation. Funds were also raised to remove the old facade and clean the bricks. Afterwards, the museum is slated to open its doors to the public. The project will include a number of programs that will bring in more visitors than ever.

The museum is housed in a Victorian-style house with original details and a restored chandelier. The Regent Theatre is another unique attraction worth visiting. The interior is richly decorated with intricate historical detail, including a fully restored original chandelier, winding staircases, and gilded candelabra-toting statues. A great place to spend an afternoon. So many things to see and do!
